Joe the Farse vs. Joe Sixpack

Joe the plumber come into the spotlight as a self proclaimed potential victim of Barack Obama’s tax plan. The only problem is that Joe decided to lie about some of the key claims. Joe said he is a plumber who wants to purchase the purchase the business that he currently works for because the company currently makes $250,000 – $280,000 making him subject to being taxed by Obama’s tax increase to those making $250,000 or more.

Joe failed to mention that the company is not for sale. He also failed to mention that the company isn’t worth $250,000 or more … it is only worth about $100,000 making him eligible for a tax cut under Obama’s plan. He also failed to mention that he doesn’t and never has had, a plumber’s license which is required to practice in his area of service. Joe is a mouth piece, a show and completely irrelevant. His “alleged” situation does not resonate with any Americans struggling during this economic downturn. McCain’s and Palin’s insistence on using him as their symbol of Middle-class America is a clear reflection of how out of touch the Republicans are with the American people.

McCain’s Doublespeak. I won’t raise taxes and I will raise taxes.

John McCain says (paraphrased) that raising taxes during this troubling economic times would be the most dangerous course of action but then outlines his medical benefits in order to pay for his new medical plan. How does he continue to say this with a straight face? How can he continue to say that Barack Obama raising taxes on the richest 5% of Americans when only 2% of small businesses fall into this bracket. If you think that people making $250,000 are considered the middle-class, then you and your 8 houses are extremely out of touch with the American people.

Question for McCain; How will we pay for our military? How will we pay for our Education? How will we pay for our Medical system?

Americans find themselves in need of progress. Progress in the economy, progress in the dealings on Wall Street, progress in the regulation in Washington. The last thing we need to do is step backwards when it comes to Racial Equality.

John McCain and Sarah Palin continue to paint Barack Obama as someone who associates himself with terrorists. The false allegations are backfiring in his polling but not without angering racist conservatives as they yell “terrorist”, “arab”, “muslim”, and “kill him!!”.

This IS racist because being “arab” and being a “terrorist” are two completely different things. McCain and Palin are bringing out the worst in human nature and trampling over the very core of the American spirit.

Americans need answers in this economy
